Summer Invitations from Tiny Prints - Giveaway!

My baby girl turns six years old this week. I can hardly believe it!  It's crazy how fast time flies when you're having fun.

She had her first year of school and is now on Summer break.  We celebrated her birthday at school the week before school let out.  She asked for ice cream cone cupcakes, and I was happy to oblige!

At first I thought it was a bit odd to celebrate Summer birthdays at school, but it was fun my little one and almost like having two birthdays!  I've heard that some parents celebrate their kids birthday with an actual party during the school year too.  I decided to just send in invitations to my daughter's party to school to hand out to classmates during the last week, and just keep the party date close to her birthday.

What do you do if your kiddo has a Summer birthday?

Birthdays are kind of a big deal here.  We always have a party!  I let the kids pick out their theme and we go from there.  There have been so many themes that we haven't been able to find decorations for and I have spent countless hours making them myself, only to find that theme in a store weeks or months later.  I always throw my hands up and make sure to point it out to my husband, hehe!  It's a little frustrating, but, it's fun to make the decorations too so I can't complain too much.

My big soon-to-be-six-year-old chose The Little Mermaid as her theme this year.  So fun!  Luckily I did find some decor in stores, and lots online as well.

Since we decided spur of the moment to send out invitations to her classmates, I picked up some "generic" girly invitations at the store and just used Little Mermaid stickers to seal the envelopes...but I wish I'd thought far enough ahead to check out Tiny Prints for invitations, because they have some really cute Summer invites.  They even have Mermaids!

I'm definitely going to get on the ball for my November birthday girl's party, as soon as she decides on a theme!  I'll head over to Tiny Prints and see what we can come up with.

Do you have a party coming up you need invitations for?  Tiny Prints is generously offering one lucky reader a set of 25 party invitations!

This is our first Rafflecopter giveaway as well, woohoo!
