Cheryl's

In 1981, Cheryl Krueger and her college roommate, Caryl Walker, opened the very first Cheryl’s Cookies® in Columbus, Ohio. Their modest storefront sold just six kinds of cookies, along with soda pop. Within the span of just seven years, the company broadened its offerings to include gifts and desserts, and with this growth came a new name–Cheryl&Co.®

As the company grew, more and more desserts were added to their selection... gourmet brownies, cakes and fancy cookies, including seasonal cut-out cookies topped with a signature buttercream frosting. Is your mouth watering yet?  Their brownie rounds look delicious!

Today, Cheryl&Co. is a multi-faceted business comprised of retail stores in Ohio, a high-traffic Internet business and a successful Business Gift Division, all headquartered in the Columbus suburb of Westerville, Ohio. A 2005 merger enabled Cheryl&Co. to become a part of the 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands., while maintaining the company’s mission to provide the finest fresh-baked gifts and desserts. The company’s four divisions (Retail, Catalog, Business Gift Services and Internet) can be found at the easy to navigate Cheryls.com, where you can find delicious gifts for any occasion.

Their mission is to provide the finest fresh-baked gifts and desserts for all of life’s moments, delivered with warmth and backed by a guarantee of excellence.

They promise you:
1. Delicious cookies and fresh-baked goods
2. Only the highest quality standards
3. Friendly service focused on excellence
4. Trustworthy, dependable products and services
5. Unique gift ideas and exclusive packaging
6. The strongest guarantee in the business

Cheryl's sent us one of their new Valentine Samplers to try.  These samplers include two of their new Buttercream Frosted White Heart Cookies with Sprinkles (and who doesn't like sprinkes?!), two Fudge Buttercream Frosted Heart Cookies (you had be me at fudge), two Buttercream Frosted Pink Heart Cookies (the girly-girl in me wanted to squeal at how cute they are!).  These sampler's are sold for $9.99, and that includes shipping!  What a sweet way to let someone know they are on your mind and in your heart this Valentine's Day.  The cookies are individually wrapped, which keeps them fresh.  They are soft and moist and delicious, just as if you had purchased them from an actual bakery...or even baked them yourself.
YUM!

As Cheryl's is part of a family of brands that includes The Popcorn Factory, they were also kind enough to send us one of their Wild About You Popcorn Tins (and we LOVE popcorn so this was a big hit!).  For 30 years The Popcorn Factory has been the leading "popcorn authority," crafting unique popcorn gifts from grown-in-the USA corn that is infused with great flavors.  Their popcorn tastes fresh and really is delicious.  The Wild About You Popcorn Tin is one of their traditional 3-way combos (though I would say the design on the tin is anything but traditional, it's definitely "wild!"), featuring all-natural Butter, robust Cheese, and a secret-recipe Caramel Corn.  You can even add a photo label and/or a personal message right on the tin, if you so choose!  That's pretty awesome.

DELICIOUS!
