Auric Blends began captivating men and women with their fragrances in 1993. Their line of perfumes and incense are not only hand crafted, but hand crafted with the finest ingredients from around the world.
I recently had the opportunity to try a few of the products that Auric Blends produces. I knew immediately, as soon as I found Auric Blends, that I had to try the Egyptian Goddess scent. The name itself drew me in. Auric Blends was kind enough to send me a nice selection of the items they carry for review. Three of their 1/3 ounce roll on perfumes, a jar of Amber Butter, White Gardenia perfumed solid, and Island Coconut incense. I felt absolutely indulgent when I opened the package, everything is so beautiful. I have not yet burned the incense but the scent is amazing. My incense holder is too small for these sticks, but I can't wait to pick up a new holder. I will not lie I have on more than one occaision held the pack up to my nose to breathe in the lovely scent of Island Coconut.
One of the 1/3 ouce roll on perfume oils was in their signature scent, Egyptian Goddess. This unique blend combines soft florals, light powder and musk to create a perfume that is seductive, feminine and enticing. I am absolutely in love with this scent. It's bold and captivating, while still remaining gentle and feminine, and I find myself applying it more often than any other scent in my collection lately. Addicting. Also included were Love, and Water Goddess. Don't you just love their product names? Of the three I definitely prefer Egyptian Goddess, but I do enjoy Love as well. At first it was a bit too sweet for me, but after a little while it grew on me. They offer so many wonderful fragrance options in this line. Golden Honeysuckle, Lavender Dreams, Sandalwood Vanilla... It would be really interesting to wear more than one of these at a time as well I think and create your own signature fragrance. I am especially interested in trying their Naturals line, I love the inspiration behind them.
The Amber Butter and White Gardenia perfumed solids are a real treat. Not only are they wonderful scents (I actually seek out gardenia scents in lotion quite often, so I was excited to find this little gem tucked into the package I recieved), but they are gorgeous. Auric Blends line of perfumed solids includes 14 different fragrances, offering richly textured perfumes carried in a base of beeswax and coconut oil. I know I have mentioned here before that I like solid perfumes and find the staying power to be better in my experience. I would love to try out the Black Coconut and the Golden Vanilla, but I love the White Gardenia. It reminds me of summers at my grandmother's house, going to the beach, sitting out on her deck smelling the gardenias she had planted. I adore the fragrance of gardenias. The soapstone container is gorgeous as well. My photos do not do it justice and it is absolutely a display piece, mine is currently sitting on my dresser. I have no desire to sweep it away into a drawer or on to a shelf where it won't be seen.
In an equally beautiful handcarved rosewood container, is the Amber Butter. The spicy, rich, warm and earthy scent of amber in a velvety and creamy solid perfume form.
Auric Blends has offered to send three lucky readers each one of their 1/3 ounce perfume roll ons in the scent of their choice!
