Giant Microbes Review and Giveaway!

Founded in 2002, our mission here at Giantmicrobes Inc. is to produce unique and interesting gifts for children and adults alike.
Whether your interest is educational, medical, or just plain old entertainment, we're your number one source for all things microbial!

When I first saw Giant Microbes, it was little sperm cell and egg cell plushes with little respective pink and blue bows, and I thought "how cute is this?!"  I immediately had to find out more about them and to see what else they made.  "How cute is this," turned into "how AWESOME is this!?" as I saw more Giant Microbes designs.

Perfect for someone in the medical or teaching professions (what a great classroom tool these could make!), or just your average science enthusiast, Giant Microbes turns something that might be a little bit "gross" in to something fun and educational, not to mention CUTE.  I was sent a Noodle the Brain Cell Vinyl Figure, which is one of their new releases.  I was able to use this fun little guy to talk to my daughters about our brains and Noodle kept them very interested and sparked a lot of questions.

Noodle is adorable.  This cute little guy was inspired by a microscopic image of neurons (commonly known as brain cells).  He comes in a bright orange box with his picture on the front, and inside you will find Noodle (beheaded!  You have to put his head on, haha) as well as a sticker and a fun little pocket sized flip book.  My kids loved this.  I wish they had a series of books to go along with their great line of plushes, vinyl figures, neck ties, and more.

Giant Microbes also sent me a Noodle Neck Tie.  Great for your favorite geek (said in the most affectionate of ways, I think this would perfect for anyone who's full of knowledge and proud of it)!  How perfect would the gift of a coordinating plush or vinyl figure be along with a neck tie for a gift?  They are awesome together!  It would have made an awesome Father's Day gift, or perhaps for a birthday or even the (*gasp* I know, so close and yet so far away) holiday season coming up.  I think a set of these would be perfect for a (current or aspiring) teacher, doctor, paramedic, or anyone who just loves science.  How fun would the bookworm be for a librarian?  Or the black death for a historian?  They're very affordable as well, with prices beginning at $8.95.  I just saw they even have a Noodle with a graduation cap!  How fun for a new graduate?  The heart boxes just make me laugh.

Everything from Giant Microbes is so fun, I love that they have a sense of humor!  You have to check out their website and look at all the little dancing characters they have for some of their products.  Who knew Streptococcus Pyogenes could be so cute?  Though I don't think I'd be inviting him over for dinner anytime soon... :o)
Giant Microbes is offering one lucky reader the chance to pick their favorite original size microbe  (These retail for $8.95)!
